Melissa Holtzer graduated from Binghamton University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Economics.  Melissa earned her J.D. in 2005 from Hofstra University School of Law.

Prior to joining MSSSV, Melissa practiced  employment law at a plaintiff’s firm, where she litigated, inter alia, the question of whether transsexuals have a cause of action under New York State Executive Law 296.  Buffong v. Castle on the Hudson, 824 N.Y.S.2d 752 (Sup. Ct. Westchester County 2006).
