Maria Thomas graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She received her Juris Doctor in 2001 from St. John’s University School of Law where she served as Notes and Comments Editor of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary.

Prior to joining MSSSV, Maria worked as an associate with a large law firm handling professional liability coverage cases. She has also worked in house at major insurance companies handing matters in their Directors & Officers and Employment Practices departments.
